CATI is offering up to ten student memberships per year.
Students can earn a year's membership by making a contribution to CATI in the form of an article for
the CATI Quarterly, volunteering at the Conference and/or workshops, etc.
Students are encouraged to come up with own contribution. The board is open to suggestions.
Applications are due by November 16, 2010 and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please contact Heather Hille, CATI Administrator, with your suggested contribution, at
catiadmin@catiweb.org.
To apply/qualify for a scholarship, students may:
a) Contribute to a (suggested) student corner on the CATI Web site. The student corner is in development.
b) Submit a 500-word essay on a topic related to the translation and interpreting professions, which
board members will review. This could be one option for a contribution to the student corner.
c) Volunteer at CATI events (reception, pick up refreshments at the store, etc.)
The CATI Board will reserve the option of reimbursing a volunteer if payment for the year has already been
made or apply it toward the following year.
