CATI Needs YOU!

I. OVERVIEW

The Carolina Association of Translators and Interpreters (CATI -> www.catiweb.org) is planning to hold TWO, 3-hour, hands-on, translation workshops, on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Wake Technical Community College’s Northern Campus. CATI surveyed its members in mid-July. Four over-arching themes are in demand! They are: editing translations into English; legal translation; medical translation; and translation in education. We would like YOU to be the presenter for ONE of our 3-hour workshops! (Based on the proposals we receive, we will narrow the four themes down to two. Once we have our presenters confirmed, we will announce our workshop titles. Then, we will open registration for the workshops. So, please, save the date!)

  1. TARGET AUDIENCE

Medical, legal, and community translators and interpreters at various stages in their careers.

III. OBJECTIVES

To offer a non-language specific, hands-on, 3-hour workshop on translation.
