Bio:
Claudette Thomas is a Philadelphia, PA native born to Jamaican parents and relocated to SC in 2008. She holds a BA in Spanish Language and Linguistics from Temple University and an MA in Spanish to English Translation from the Univ. of Puerto Rico. She also serves the community volunteering as a percussionist for several bands and orchestras, considering she was on a full band scholarship while completing her Masters in Puerto Rico. Her vast experience includes serving as a translation project manager for several companies as well as freelance interpreting off and on over the years. Currently working part-time in Easley, SC and surrounding areas as an Independent Freelance Judiciary Interpreter while studying and training to be a Certified State level Court Interpreter.
