You’re in Business: How to price your work

You are in business, whether employed or freelancing. This presentation covers the elements of budgeting and business planning. The methodology should help you develop personal criteria for accepting or rejecting freelance assignments, balancing employment offers, and choosing alternatives for business expansion. The presentation will cover calculating your break-even price, and tracking sales volume and revenue. As time allows, Dr. Hine will cover practical matters such as career decision-making, job estimating, managing capital assets, and how to handle expenses when work happens on holiday.

This is not a number-crunching presentation; come prepared to enjoy learning how to set your business on a solid financial footing and keep it there. Type your questions into the chat, or send them ahead to jt@jthine.com.
